1. The
bible says all land animals (beast of the field) were created on Day 6 along
with Adam. Dinosaurs were land animals. Adams favorite pet may have been a
dinosaur!
Are Dinosaurs
Mentioned in the bible?
2. The book
of Job chapter 40:15 talks about Behemoth "which I made with thee". Behemoth in
the Hebrew means big monstrous animal. The bible says he eats grass like an ox,
he has huge hips and bones, he had a
TAIL LIKE
A CEDAR TREE,
and he was the Chief of the ways of God. Chief here means he is the largest land
animal God ever made. Some bible commentaries say this may be an elephant.
Elephants are the largest land animal alive today, but they have a pathetic
looking tail, not like a cedar. Remember the bible commentary is not inspired.
It's the word that is inspired. The Dinosaurs are by far the largest land
animals created by God.

This
would have to be one of the sauropod Dinosaurs. I think the Brachiosaurus
pictured below to the left. To the right you see many dinosaurs had a “tail like
a cedar tree”.

Why Don't I see the word
Dinosaur in the bible?
3. You
don’t see the 'word' Dinosaur
for the same reason you don't see the word "email"
or "computer" in the bible. These words weren't invented till after the bible
was written.

The word
dinosaur was invented in 1841, the KJV bible was written in 1611.
The bible does mention many
other animals that sound like dinosaurs but the most repeated mention of these
animals is dragons. Dragons are mentioned in scripture more then 25 times. More
in this below...
Some biblically conclusions about Dinosaurs and their disappearance...
The
bible talks about a Great Flood. That would certainly bury animals in mud (which
would later turn to rock) all over the earth, Dinosaurs included.
The
geology column doesn't show what evolved first but what was buried first.
Deep ocean life, shallow water life, small reptiles, big animals, and then man
who was smart enough to avoid the flooding water as long as possible. Noah
would have taken dinosaurs on the ark and some would survive the flood.
Noah was
600 years old when he built the ark and would have been smart enough to take
babies not the biggest dinosaurs he could find.
They would have all fit perfectly fine in the massive ark which was about 1.5 to
2 football fields long (depending on which cubit you use) and 5 stories high.
Some
dinosaurs would have trouble surviving after the flood with the massive climate
changes. Others that survived have been hunted to death by man just like
thousands of other animals that have gone extinct in the recent past.
Not
all dinosaurs were large and man is smart enough to take down any animal no
matter how large. With poison tip weapons, and team work we take down the
largest of animals. No one wants to live next door
to a dinosaur just like no one wants a grisly bear as a neighbor. We find
hundreds of legends of dragons being slain in the past. As people move in and
“inhabit an area the “dragons” move out, or are killed off.
There was
no “endangered species” list back then.
This makes
perfect since knowing that
the word Dinosaurs wasn't invented into 1841.
What did
they call dinosaurs throughout history? They called them Dragons. Dragons are
mentioned in many of the old science books (not fairy tail books) up until the
late 1500's. In the 1600's there is mention of them being rare and small
compared to earlier ones. The stories that sound like myth's get modified over
time but the bases of the story are still true. One common thing mentioned in
these legends is "flying dragons". Well there were flying dinosaurs. We know
that today. The illustrations may be modified to glorify the story teller but
there is still some true in the story. Today people say they caught a fish that
was one size and every time they tell the story the fish gets bigger and the
battle longer. Hundreds of examples could be given of dragon legends, ancient
cave draws, carvings, and historical records that sound and look like dinosaurs.

Many
Christians, because of the media and evolutionary scientist, have tried to find
ways to add "millions of years" to the bible; some examples being the gap
theory, and the day age theory
of which
I use to believe myself.
But if you just take the bible and read it alone (no outside information) there
doesn't seem to be any hint of "long ages" in the bible. For example Genesis
says "it was evening and morning the first day... evening and morning second
day...". Exodus 20:11 says God made it all in 6 days and because of this
commanded us to rest on the 7th day. The Sabbath day makes no sense
if the days are millions of years. And finally the big one is the bible says
death came by sin. But sin came by Adam! So nothing could die before Adam’s sin,
if the bible is true. As a matter of fact the bible says Adam was 130 when he
beget Seth. And Seth was so many years and beget his son, and his son all the
way to Jesus! If you add up the years you only get about 6000 years. This means
that man and dinosaur had to live together according to the bible.
