 This Guy
standing to your left is the Giganotosaurus. He is one of the great Dinosaurs of
the past. He was 47 feet long and when alive probably weighed 10 tons! But how
much do we really know about Dinosaurs. There are a few things we all know for
sure.
1. Almost
all dinosaur bones are found in sedimentary rock.
Actually
nearly every fossil, not just dinosaurs, is found in sedimentary rock.
Sedimentary rock is formed by water. It flows into place and then dries and
hardened into rock. So we know all of these areas where covered by water. In
fact if one would just count the types of fossils that are found 95% of all
fossils are marine invertebrates. This only means they have no backbone and live
in the water like a jelly fish. So billions of died creatures have been buried
in a mud flow “flood” like event all over the earth. This could have been
thousands of “local” floods over millions of years or one big flood but no one
argues over the fact that lots of water was involved.
2. Some
of these Guys were huge!
The
Argentinosaurus was about 100 feet long and weighed in at over 100 tons. That's
the same as 14 school buses!
But not all
dinosaurs were big. Many were smaller then a chicken. It's the anatomy that
determines if it’s a dinosaur not the size. One of the smallest adult dinosaurs
found was the Compsognathus
He weighed
about 8 lbs and was about the size of a chicken.
The
average dinosaur was about the size of a large dog or a sheep.
3. Almost
all would agree that dinosaurs went extinct and their extinction was global.
The most
popular theory about the dinosaurs is that an asteroid hit the earth kicked up a
massive dust cloud. This blocked out the sun, killed off the plants and this
lead to the death of the dinosaurs. A creationist would argue that a global
flood would destroy all animals on the earth (including dinosaurs) and would
bury these animals violently in mud and sediment. So which on is correct. . .
When we look at the condition of the
 fossils
it is
obvious
that their death was violent and sudden. Many dinosaurs are found buried in
fossil graveyards like in Utah. These fossil
graveyards are all over the earth. This demonstrates that they were buried in a
watery condition (whirlpool) quickly, and violently.
4. Many
dinosaurs bones have been found that have not been fossilized.
Not only
have unfossilized bones been found but every dinosaur bone tested for Carbon has
measurable amounts of Carbon 14. This is important because C14 can't date
something older then 50,000 years. All of the C14 would be gone. This is
powerful evidence that none of the dinosaur bones tested can be older then
50,000 years (as opposed to 65 million years, big difference). And scientists
know it doesn’t take millions of years for fossils to form. All kinds of “fast
fossils” have been found. Every thing from a fossilized spark plug, to a clock
set in a rock.
5. Blood
and tissue found in a T-rex bone
 Recently
(late 1990’s) fresh dinosaur skin and blood vessels were found in a T-Rex bone.
It was later discovered that this isn't the first one that was found!
Evolutionist are now putting hundreds of thousands of dollars into research to
find out how red blood cells can last for millions of years. As far as anyone
knows today it is impossible!

Dinosaurs fascinate Children!
 And
I believe this is why believers of evolution go to great lengths to convince the
public that dinosaurs died out millions of years ago, and always include them
when telling the story of evolution. But did dinosaurs really evolve, is there
any evidence for this or just imagination.
Where
does the idea of Dinosaurs going extinct millions of years come from?
 The
geologic column. The problem is it doesn't exist
anywhere in the world except the text books. If the column existed it would
nearly 100 miles deep! The deepest fossils we find are about 1 to 1.5 miles
deep. One of the deepest holes ever dug was only about 5 miles So how do they
get 100 miles of rock? By assuming evolution has happen and putting the various
layers of the sedimentary rock in an evolutionary order. Then they use the
geologic column to prove evolution! That's called circular reasoning. Where in
you use the assumption of something being true to prove it's true. It's the same
as saying "evolution is true because evolution is true". This concept has been
falsified (the column showing animals to be extinct) by what is called living
fossils. One example of a living fossil is the coelacanth fish. This fish was
thought to have gone extinct before the dinosaurs. But in the 1930's a fisherman
found coelacanth's still alive living in deep ocean waters. Living fossils are
animals they thought were extinct, but have been found alive. Their reasoning is
they are only found at the bottom of the “supposed” column thus they have died
out. There are so many examples of living fossils other then the coelacanth that
evolutionist just ignore the problem all together. Since that time, over 200
coelacanths have been caught. Now there is no scientific reason to believe
dinosaurs went extinct before man was created.

Some
biblically conclusions about Dinosaurs and their disappearance...
 The
bible talks about a massive world wide Flood, which lasted for 371 days (it
rained for 40 days) That would certainly bury animals in mud, which
would later turn to rock, all over the earth, Dinosaurs included.
The
geology column doesn't show what evolved first but what was buried first.
Deep ocean life, shallow water life, small reptiles, big animals, and then man
who was smart enough to avoid the flooding water as long as possible. Noah
would have taken dinosaurs on the ark and some would survive the flood.
Noah was
600 years old when he built the ark and would have been smart enough to take
babies not the biggest dinosaurs he could find.
They would have all fit perfectly fine in the massive ark which was about 1.5 to
2 football fields long (depending on which cubit you use) and 5 stories high.
Some
dinosaurs would have trouble surviving after the flood with the massive climate
changes. Others that survived have been hunted to death by man just like
thousands of other animals that have gone extinct in the recent past.
 Not
all dinosaurs were large and man is smart enough to take down any animal no
matter how large. With poison tip weapons, and team work we take down the
largest of animals. No one wants to live
next door
to a dinosaur just like no one wants a grisly bear as a neighbor. We find
hundreds of legends of dragons being slain in the past. As people move in and
“inhabit an area the “dragons” move out, or are killed off.
There was
no “endangered species” list back then.
This makes
perfect since knowing that
the word Dinosaurs wasn't invented into 1841.
What did
they call dinosaurs throughout history? They called them Dragons. Dragons are
mentioned in many of the old science books (not fairy tail books) up until the
late 1500's. In the 1600's there is mention of them being rare and small
compared to earlier ones. The stories that sound like myth's get modified over
time but the bases of the story are still true. One common thing mentioned in
these legends is "flying dragons". Well there were flying dinosaurs. We know
that today. The illustrations may be modified to glorify the story teller but
there is still some true in the story. Today people say they caught a fish that
was one size and every time they tell the story the fish gets bigger and the
battle longer. Hundreds of examples could be given of dragon legends, ancient
cave draws, carvings, and historical records that sound and look like dinosaurs.
I will only list a few.
 Marco
Polo lived in China for 17 yrs. around 1271 A.D. and reported that the emperor
raised dragons to pull his chariots in parades.
I believe
some (certainly not all) dinosaurs could be domesticated. The same way we use
horses, and elephants for work. We trust Marco for other history why not
dinosaurs or Dragons.

 This
is a Inca burial stone found in Ica Peru. A man riding a triceratops. Apparently
smoking goes back thousands of years as well.
 This
pottery was found in Acambaro Mexico. It is several thousand years old. Remember
we aren’t supposed to know what dinosaurs looked like until the late 1800’s
really the mid 1900’s. This Pottery is dated back to between 800BC and 200 AD.
I could
give more examples but I think it is clear that ancient man saw dinosaurs before
they became extinct as many animals do today. Even now we have over 1200 animals
on the endangered species list. I am not sure why so many find it mystified that
dinosaurs have gone extinct. It is only the falsified interpretation of the
fossil record and geologic column that created the idea. As demonstrated by the
coelacanth fish and literally hundreds of others living fossils.
I think the
bottom line is we now know that God’s word is true and there is never a reason
to doubt that you can trust God’s word from cover to cover.
As one man put it “the bible is the rock upon which many
hammers have been broken”. I would agree. There will always be attacks on the
bible but we can continue to put our trust in the unbreakable word of God.
