There are basically Four
essential ingredients for evolution to work.
1. Unimaginable
amounts of time
If the earth is not billions of years old the whole concept of
evolution is destroyed. This is why they (evolutionist) insist the earth must be
millions and billions of years old. This idea is based on an a principle
developed by Charles Lyell called uniformitarism
(what).
A global flood, no
matter all the evidence, is impossible according to the idea because it doesn't
happen regularly or "in the present". This was a one time historical event.
If the flood laid down the coal, buried all the
animals in sediment, and dug out all the canyons then the millions, and billions
of years is impossible to detect. The ages given very greatly from 8 billion to
20 billion for the universe. The point is not the exact age. The idea is "long
ago and far way". Too far back for the average lay person to question it.

2. A mechanism for changing from one kind
of animal to another.
Believers of evolution often say well mutations (what?) can change the
appearance of an animal thus Mutations are the mechanism for change. BUT...
there's a problem. All living things have DNA which for our purpose is basically
the building instructions for that creature. To change a bacteria into a person
you have to have a significant INCREASE in INFORMATION.
Bacteria doesn't have the information to make arms, eyes, a heart, lungs,
etc... like we do.
Well Mutations (what?) destroy information, they don't increase it.
They are most often fatal, or detrimental to the animal. However occasional a
mutation can be favorable. (More on that later) but it never increases the
information in your DNA.
So you can take a dog and mutation it. You will get some funny
looking dogs, Dogs with strange colors, flat noses, and short legs, and floppy
ears, in other words lots of rearranged information, but no new information. You
will never get a elephant from this process. Why? The information is not there.
Some have argued well information can be copied by accident and you have more
information. The key is no new information.
3. A way of
making that change survive and produce more offspring of its new self.
The process given this job is
natural
selection. Natural Selection is like a quality control. the creatures best able
to survive are the ones "selected" to continue on the assemble line and produce
more offspring. the "defects" are rejected and destroyed, never to reproduce.
4. This process must operate completely by random
chance.
This part is simple.
If the process is directed in any way at any time
it is not evolution it is intelligent design. Thus there is a creator.
Thus by their own definition of
science (science=naturalism) evolution has become just another religion. You can
throw out evolution if it can't work on its
own.
And if God created for his glory why
in the world would he use a process that makes it difficult to tell if he made
it. That rely completely on death and suffering to operate. It seems silly to
me that anyone would suggest God used evolution. You are wrong twice. Wrong
scientifically and wrong biblically.
I believe the only reason people
believe that is because they have been brainwashed (as I use to be about the
long ages) into thinking that part or all of evolution had been proven.
But as I studied I found out it is basically a misinterpretation of the data based on circular
reasoning about the rocks and fossils. Some what of a mass deception. That feeds
itself.
Especially when it comes to the long
ages. Billions and billions of years. If you notice many people believe
evolution only because others believe evolution. This in itself is circular
reasoning. And since students are only taught to think in terms of
millions of years the can't see anything else.
