Intelligent design and Creation science are
different.
Intelligent design is a nice compliment
to creation science
but it is not a replacement.
The Intelligent
Design's are
suggesting that order requires an organizer. Life requires something living
etc... According to the second law of thermodynamics everything becomes more
disorder with time.
There is incredible
order in the universe. We can predict the sun rise for the next 200 years down
to the very second. The next question is obvious. How did
it get so well organized by itself. We only "observe" things getting less
organized on their
own. Stars wear out and explode, cars wear out, we get old and die. Our bodies
riot and decay to a state of total disorder. Nothing improves on it's own. So
why is it so hard for some to believe there was an organizer. Evolutionary
scientist start
with the preconceived idea that there is no organizer so it must have happened
by itself. That's their only option.
Order requires an organizer.
If you look at the
picture to your left. Both are rocks. But one has order applied to it. Can you
guess which one was designed? Of course you can! You can tell when an
intelligent person took matter and organized it for a purpose like the arrow.
The rock below is also organized for a purpose. The amazing thing is George
Washington's real face and body are millions of times more complexity and
ordered then the rock it was carved on.
Intelligent designers do not
teach that evolution didn't happen!
They are only saying
that certain parts of the world and some animals must have been
made by some intelligence. It could be any religions god, or
god's, or even an alien from a far away planet.
Much

the intelligent design movement and their component's but we are
teaching Creation Science here.
What's the difference in creation
science?
Creation Scientist are saying that
there is evidence that life, and all the various kinds of
animals appeared suddenly on earth in the recent past (about
6000 years ago).
AND
That a global series of
catastrophes occurred about 4500 years ago over the course of a
year (Noah's flood lasted 371 days not 40 days) and that this
catastrophe laid down the coal layers, oil deposits and buried
billions of animals in mud layers (later rock layers) all over
earth.
